FUNimation just announced today that the ultra popular ‘Dragon Ball Z’ franchise will be coming back to theaters this summer is North America.
The new film will be called Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F and will finally be screened August 4-12 in theaters across the country. We’ve been told that the story is a follow-up to 2013’s Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
COO of FUNimation Mike DuBoise said, “Fans are in for another amazing ride with Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F. We will be raising the bar for the anime theater-going experience.”
What could that mean? Are we expecting this to be a 3-D release? And what do they mean by “Resurrection F”? Could an iconic Z villain be making an, I don’t know, resurrection? *cough, cough Frieza
HERE’S THE TRAILER!
Look for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F in theaters August 4-12!!
